The method of improving the power factor of permanent magnet synchronous motor
Through the analysis of the reasons for the low power factor of each single well point, the following methods were adopted to adjust.
1. Properly replace the motor according to the measured load rate to ensure an appropriate load rate.
2. Stabilize the system voltage, especially at the end of the heavy-duty line, the voltage is generally low.
3. Stabilize the single well voltage to make it close to the no-load back EMF of the permanent magnet synchronous motor.
4. When the operating voltage is higher than the back EMF point of the permanent magnet motor, according to the size of the inductive reactive power, capacitor compensation can be added to improve the power factor.
5. When the operating voltage is lower than the back EMF point of the permanent magnet motor, the transformer tap changer can be adjusted to appropriately increase the amplitude of the secondary voltage, so that the motor operating voltage is near the back EMF point and the power factor is improved.
6. For heavy-load long lines, after adjusting the transformer tap changer, when the amplitude of the secondary voltage of the transformer is still lower than the back-EMF point of the permanent magnet motor, the permanent magnet synchronous motor can be replaced, and the capacitor cabinet can be used for compensation.
